Sencillo, \u00bfverdad? Bueno, m\u00e1s o menos. Si bien limitar el gasto al l\u00edmite de un sueldo es fundamental para una buena gesti\u00f3n financiera, hacerlo puede ser extremadamente dif\u00edcil. Hay muchas razones, pero la principal es la idea popular de que vivir endeudado no solo es inevitable, sino tambi\u00e9n aceptable. Sin embargo, esta es una forma muy peligrosa de ver las finanzas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">La amplia disponibilidad de cr\u00e9dito ha hecho que no tener efectivo para pagar art\u00edculos necesarios y discrecionales sea irrelevante. Actualmente, alrededor de 189 millones de estadounidenses tienen al menos una tarjeta de cr\u00e9dito, cada una con un l\u00edmite t\u00edpico de $9,500. El acceso inmediato a tal suma inspira a muchos a incurrir r\u00e1pidamente en atrasos impenetrables. Si bien la deuda promedio por hogar actualmente supera los $5,700, los saldos de seis cifras no son inusuales. Las tarjetas de cr\u00e9dito han pasado de ser una herramienta de pago conveniente a una cuenta de emergencia instant\u00e1nea, aguinaldo, fondo de vacaciones y aumento de salario, todo en uno.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">No es solo el pl\u00e1stico lo que facilita endeudarse. Las instituciones de pr\u00e9stamos r\u00e1pidos han irrumpido en nuestro panorama. Ahora podemos acceder a nuestras futuras ganancias con solo emitir un cheque. Muchos de quienes recurren a estos negocios se ven atrapados en un ciclo interminable de deudas, con tasas de inter\u00e9s que dejar\u00edan at\u00f3nito a cualquier usurero.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Tener deudas de consumo causa estr\u00e9s y preocupaci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, puede minar tu capacidad de ahorrar para la jubilaci\u00f3n y la educaci\u00f3n superior.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo revertimos la tendencia? Aqu\u00ed hay algunas maneras:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>Refuta la idea de que mantener la deuda es inevitable y simplemente otra forma de administrar el dinero.<\/li>\n<li>Redef\u00ednete como un \u201cahorrador\u201d en lugar de un \u201cconsumidor\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Disfrute de la sensaci\u00f3n de vivir dentro de sus par\u00e1metros de ingresos, en lugar de m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de ellos.<\/li>\n<li>Acepte que es posible que no pueda tener todo lo que quiere (o incluso necesita) hoy, y que una soluci\u00f3n r\u00e1pida de efectivo no lo sacar\u00e1 de una mala situaci\u00f3n; solo har\u00e1 que el mes siguiente sea m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil.<\/li>\n<li>Tome prestado s\u00f3lo cuando est\u00e9 absolutamente seguro de que puede pagar el saldo total cuando llegue la factura.<\/li>\n<li>Rechace la idea de que es su responsabilidad mantener la econom\u00eda en marcha.
