As a member of Peninsula Credit Union, your Debit Card is a powerful financial tool which allows you convienient access to your money when you need it in several different ways.
- Get surcharge-free access to 24,433 ATMs throughout the U.S. Find them at www.co-opnetwork.org
- Use it at a store as a “debit” and you can get cash back at the time of your purchase rather than visiting an ATM.
- Use it as a credit card when making purchases personally, on-line or over the phone
- When traveling, utilize your Visa to receive a cash advance from any other bank or credit union (fees from other financial institutions may apply)
- This card can be used in place of writing a check wherever Visa cards are accepted.

Debit Card Activation
To activate your card, simply call 866-985-2273 from the home phone number listed on your account. The system agent will verify that the phone number that you are calling from matches up with the one you have previously provided. If the number matches, the card will be activated. If you are calling from a different phone number than what is on your account, you will need to provide the last 4 digits of your Social Security number for verification.
Prepaid Gift Cards
Now you can buy gift cards right here at your credit union! Use them for college kids, birthday or other holiday gifts, even charities or any time you want to give money. Because gift cards can be used almost anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted, your friends and family get to decide how and where they want to use it. Stop by any Peninsula Credit Union branch and purchase your Visa gift cards today! Cards cost $2.95 for amounts $5.00 to $100 and $4.95 for amounts $101 to $750.
Card Member Security
If your debit card has been lost or stolen, or if your account seems to be reflecting purchases that were not made by you, it is important that you immediately contact Peninsula Credit Union. The best place to start is by calling a Member Services Representative at 360-426-1601 or 800-426-1601. If it is the weekend, holiday or after hours, the automated attendant will walk you through how to reach our fraud detection service.
It is important that you notify us if you have updated your phone number to avoid unnecessary blocks on your card. In addition, if you are planning on traveling out of the country, please contact us before you do so. If you plan to travel, please keep these numbers handy: 888-918-7313, 727-299-2449 (overseas collect) in case a block is placed on your account while you are away.
