What does the monthly fee cover?

The monthly fee is associated with the benefits that come with the Basic and Premium accounts, such as half-off a safe deposit box rental, free cashier’s checks, and a box of free checks a year. We also charge a $3.00 monthly maintenance fee for the regular maintenance we perform on every checking account, such as sending out monthly statements and tax documents, posting direct deposits and automatic withdrawals, and other routine tasks necessary to keep your account running. We waive the monthly maintenance fee if you simply sign up for electronic statements.
