WOW Member Moments: Compassion in Action

Jennifer, a recent transplant from California, walked into our Poulsbo location, seeking to become a member. Our observant team member noticed Jennifer’s distress and took a moment to lend a compassionate ear. It turned out Jennifer’s sister was critically ill back in California.

During the interaction, Jennifer was receiving phone calls from the hospital and family. Check out how our team did an amazing job showing compassion and really put the needs of Jennifer first: While opening Jennifer’s new account, we discovered Jennifer’s credit had been frozen! Rather than turning her away, we instructed her on next steps. Does your financial institution do that?

We made a follow up appointment with Jennifer for the next week. She came back in and was able to open up a saving and checking accounts, and set up an account to speak with Peninsula Wealth Management’s financial advisor for investment advice. Within a couple days Jennifer’s daughter reached out to thank our Poulsbo team personally for taking such great care of her mom.
