My vehicle is a total loss. How do I file a GAP claim?

If you purchased your GAP with the dealership, the credit union will send a packet out to you once we receive the information that your vehicle has been deemed a total loss. The packet will include all the information necessary from us to begin your GAP claim.
If you purchased your GAP from the credit union we will file the claim for you once we receive the information that your vehicle has been deemed a total loss.
Gap generally will not cover any past due payments, skipped payments, missed payments, late charges and may reduce the amount your GAP policy covers causing a loan balance to remain
